Silk blends can balance a premium surface with a different warmth, texture, durability or cost position. The exact fibre blend, weave and finish should be confirmed with a sample before the collection is approved.

Wool, cashmere and linen directions add seasonal warmth or a more tactile, artisanal character. They are useful when the artwork benefits from texture or when the scarf is positioned for cooler-weather styling.

Cotton, viscose, modal, Tencel and polyester options can support accessible ranges, promotional products, social-content drops or a different care and price direction. Final suitability depends on the actual print and use case.

Silk, modal and selected silk blends can create a soft hand feel and fluid drape. Confirm the weight, weave, opacity and surface against the way the scarf will be tied, folded or photographed.

Tencel and viscose directions can support smooth, lightweight accessories with a gentle surface character. They can be considered for entry collections or designs that need a different cost position from silk.

Cotton and polyester can be considered for practical merchandise, larger promotional programs or designs intended for frequent use. Print method, base colour and care instructions should be reviewed together.

Polyester can be paired with sublimation printing for suitable artwork and products. It is a separate fibre and print route from natural silk, so approve the physical result before selecting it for a collection.

Square formats give clubs a clear canvas for centre artwork, borders, corners and all-over repeats. Share the finished dimension so the artwork can be checked against the fold and styling direction.

Long scarves support draping, neck styling and an extended repeat or border. The finished length and width should be set before the print layout is finalised.

Skinny formats work well for narrow artwork, handbag styling, hair styling and coordinated accessory ranges. Small-scale motifs and edge details need to be checked carefully at the finished width.

Screen printing can suit bold, separated colours and an intentionally tactile visual character. It is less flexible for complex gradients and small-batch artwork, so the design and quantity should be reviewed first.

Sublimation is used with suitable polyester fabrics and can produce vivid colour across the printable surface. It is not the same route as printing on natural silk, so material and print samples are important.

A hand-rolled hem creates an artisanal finish for selected silk and silk-blend scarves. It is more labour-intensive than a machine hem and should be included in the sample and quotation discussion.

A machine baby hem gives a clean, fine edge for many lightweight scarf constructions. It offers a practical balance of appearance, consistency and production efficiency.

A machine triangle hem creates a visible geometric edge detail that can suit a playful or graphic collection. Confirm the edge appearance with the chosen fabric and artwork.

Fringe, tassel and other decorative treatments can add movement and texture. They may also affect care, snagging, packing and cost, so the finishing choice should be tested on the intended product.

Woven or printed brand labels, composition details, care labels and origin information can be planned around the product and the required retail presentation.

Hangtags, barcode labels, thank-you cards, artist notes and collection inserts can explain the design story and give each scarf a clearer point of sale.

Folding cartons, envelopes, gift boxes, belly bands and other packing formats can be considered around the product size, channel and level of presentation.
